About Beth
I am a full-time travel professional, wife, and mom to adult triplet daughters. I am also the founder and owner of Travel by Beth, a travel agency with 14 agents over five states.
After graduating from the University of Illinois with a degree in Marketing and Business Administration, I began my career in sales with M&M Mars Company in southern California. I then returned to central Illinois to work for ten years in the pharmaceutical industry, with Bristol Myers Squibb.
When my children were young, I left the workforce to be a stay-at-home mom. Once they were in school, I started working in the travel industry. I founded Travel by Beth in 2012, and I haven’t looked back!
My husband, John joined the agency in 2018, and he assists in managing our family business. We are excited to continue growing Travel by Beth and helping our clients create unforgettable vacation experiences.
Travel by Beth has offices in St. Joseph, Champaign and Gibson City. We are a CLIA-certified agency, have earned a Disney Earmarked Status and our advisors are certified Sandals Specialists. We are an award winning agency holding the distinction of being an Elite Diamond agency with Apple Leisure Group.
I am passionate about travel, and I love helping my clients plan their dream vacations. I take the time to get to know my clients and their travel needs, and I work hard to create a customized itinerary that is perfect for them.

What is your favorite destination and why?
In 2013 my husband, John, and I traveled with our triplet daughters to Jamaica. We celebrated 15 years of marriage with a vow renewal ceremony and the girls were our attendants. We spent the week enjoying the beach and climbing Dunn’s River Falls!
What’s your dream destination to visit?
My dream destination changes pretty regularly, but I would like to take a trip to Iceland! I know, kind of a different dream but maybe it’s my Viking roots!
What will you not travel without?
One thing that I absolutely don’t travel without is a good book. I am a huge reader and am never caught without a great “beach read!”
