About Bobbie
I joined Travel By Beth as a travel advisor in 2023, but have been taking trips and referring all my family and friends to this amazing travel agency for the past 5 years!
I grew up in Spokane, Washington and graduated from Washington State University with a B.S. in Physics. A few years post-college and after a career shift from physics, I ended up in the Midwest for 8 years doing IT work. While in Illinois I met Beth & John and took my first trip with Travel By Beth! My husband and I returned back to my hometown of Spokane, WA in late 2019 to be closer to family, and that’s where we are now!
I had several opportunities growing up to visit other states and Mexico on family vacations. As a result, I became excited about travel and wanted to be able to travel to places all over the world! As a travel advisor I look forward to being able to share that excitement for travel with others and help people create lasting memories with one another through visiting unique locations and experiencing the many different cultures of the world.
If you have an interest in visiting the beautiful Pacific Northwest I have lots of personal experience with many of the region’s best areas to visit, and I’d be more than happy to help you plan your vacation. If the PNW isn’t on your travel list yet, no worries! I can also help you plan an excellent trip to your dream destination!
What is your favorite destination and why?
I love going to Mexico! As a kid I traveled with my family to Puerto Vallarta twice and it was the first destination I chose to visit as an adult when I had the ability (and money!) to travel on my own. I love the climate, the language, the culture and the food, and each time I go there it reminds me of all the good memories I’ve had traveling there with family and friends.
What is your dream destination?
Costa Rica and Iceland are on my bucket list. I’d love to visit the Costa Rican jungle and learn about the wildlife and ecology of that region. On the flip side, seeing the northern lights and geology of Iceland, especially its waterfalls and glaciers, would be phenomenal!
What is something you won’t travel without?
I always travel with my cellphone, wireless headphones and an extra charging pack. It’s super helpful to have headphones with noise cancelling capabilities in loud areas like planes and airports. When walking around a new city I’ll use one earbud in navigation mode to get me to where I’m going without constantly looking at my phone.
